By joining us as a volunteer, you become an essential part of our mission. Please read the following guidelines to ensure a safe, respectful, and impactful experience for everyone.
1.Role of Volunteers
Volunteers support programs, outreach activities, and community engagement initiatives under organizational guidance.
2.Code of Conduct
Volunteers must adhere to the highest standards of behavior. Specifically, you must:
- Respect local communities and cultural sensitivities
- Maintain ethical behaviour at all times
- Avoid discrimination or harassment
- Protect organizational reputation
3.No Employment Relationship
Volunteering does not constitute employment, salary, or contractual benefits.
4.Confidentiality
Volunteers must not disclose confidential information related to beneficiaries, donors, or operations.
5.Safety
Volunteers must follow safety guidelines during fieldwork and report any concerns immediately.
6.Termination
SEVAA reserves the right to discontinue volunteer involvement if conduct is inappropriate or inconsistent with organizational values.
